JONET is the national Jordanian automatic teller machine network. The service started in the year 1997 by JPSC, the network is designed to achieve the following services:

-	Allows Jordanian banks to connect their host computers and ATM to a switch (network).
-	Provides cash withdrawals / Balance inquiry.
-	Performs clearing and settlement between member banks and between VISA member banks and VISA international.
-	Logs all switched transactions, calculates all fees approved by VJCS’s steering committee.
-	Operating regulations (ATM proprietary cards are diminishing, more VISA cards in use, hence VISA operating regulations apply).
-	Unified standard of interfacing.
